Why, yes, this is my new weekly webcomic!
Check out Mermaid Hostel for weekly underwater adventures!

For Harvey Pekar's 70th Birthday, Jeff Newelt asked me to contribute a portrait of the man himself. About 95 heads were made!
Also, check out my new review on Corinne Mucha on the Schulz Library blog!
It's that time again, Morgan and I are heading down to SPX for the weekend!
I‘ll be giving out this new watercolor print called Menstrual Cup Love for anyone who buys both Menstruation Station and Don't Hate, Menstruate (which now have fancy schmancy PayPal buttons!).
My new comic work is debuting in Lumberjacks: A Field Guide, How We Met by Always Comix and the Big Sexy Anthology by Offshore Comix.
We are tabling at C14 so just look for the rainbow. Look out Bethesda, here we come!
I’m living it up in Portland until the end of August and I can’t stop drawing people dancing! E-mail me if you know of great margaritas!
Rachel and I are heading over to the Portland Zine Symposium for the next three days to debute SuperGrrrl Adventure Comix #2, in addition to San Bras and Ephemera by Rachel and my many many menstruation comics!

SuperGrrrl's cover is drawn by the always awesome Jon Chad. Stop by our table and say hi!
Back in BKLYN! I'm tabling at NYC Zine Fest '09 at the Brooklyn Lyceum, today and tomorrow, noon to seven both days.

Along with my usual staple of fantastic colleagues and comics, I will also have these delightful new Wimpy Uterus Masks for wearing anywhere on your person. Even your face.
Just a fast heads up, I will be tabling at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival 2009 in NYC, table 639, all weekend long! I'll have a lovely book version of my GRANDPAPIER entry on hand!
And it's over! These art sprints are so invigorating, but also so exhausting. The obligatory montage:

You can find my comic here on the GRANDPAPIER site. Now, where did I put that pillow?
Happening live and right now is the GRANDPAPIER international 24-hour comics project!

Refresh your browser once in a while, because that shock of pink hair is me, Comic Artist #77, engaging in live and uncensored art via the CCS web cam!
(This is no longer a live image, it's an arbitrary one from during the day.)
The excited person on the left is moi. The concerned fellow on the right is the fabulous Joe Quinones! He's holding my comic!

We were at the Maine Comics Arts Festival this weekend, for which I had finished Menstruation Station: Menarche Aboard! (And perhaps it was a project for CCS as well.) Portland, ME was gorgeous!
Oh my gosh. So many good unitard jokes.

Thank you, everyone!
What do improv and comics have in common?
Ka-Baam!! Superhero-themed improv comedy with live illustration by me! I'm so excited! They've come all the way up from Austin to Cambridge, MA to put on a three-night spectacular at Geek Week 3.0! And, I will be doing the drawing!
Come on out to the ImprovBoston main stage on Friday, Saturday or Sunday April 24th, 25th or 26th at 10pm (9pm for the Sunday show). You might want to buy your tickets online, too ($10), the last run sold out!
Industry Day! We've been slaving over our mini-portfolios and now it's time to show them off!
I'm looking forward to some constructive criticism!
Plus: what do improv and comics have in common?
I was asked to be in the mini-comic included in Indie Spinner Rack's anthology Awesome 2: Awesomer! And speaking of awesome, have you read Robyn Chapman's zine, "Hey, 4-Eyes!"?
So tired! This morning we wrapped up our "Golden Age" comic project. A full-color 32-page comic! I penciled and colored three pages, inked six, and designed the cover. So much fun, but I'm thankful that I only have solo or single-partner projects coming up.
Aw, Craftster voted me as one of their Best of 2008 in the Fiber Arts: Dyeing category! There's a sweet/kool-aid joke in there somewhere...
2009 will be a big year, guaranteed! Art-related excerpts from my hundred-and-one-strong to-do list include:
Lots more on there (of course!). Here's to a productive new year!
Just wrapped up at SPX, back to CCS, SGAC still going!
CCS, here I come!
The Portland Zine Symposium was frickin' awesome.
I'm packing and getting ready to attend CCS, but you can follow my comic book debut on our SuperGrrrl Adventure Comix MySpace!
I'm totally in Portland right now for the Portland Zine Symposium.
Follow my comic debut on our SuperGrrrl Adventure Comix MySpace!
More to come after we win the National Karaoke Championships this Wednesday night at 8pm!
I am a creator, a karaoke champion, a cartoonist, a concerned voter, an artist and a MFA candidate at the Center for Cartoon Studies.
